Staff, residents, and administration are caring and compassionate. After my husband’s death, I was treated kindly by everyone who knew him. To this day, four years later, staff members recall his humor and laughter. No price tag on that!
I’m happy to be here!

Mary Meehan,

Dominican Village is a friendly Place.
You can participate in its many activities or enjoy the peace and security of your own apartment.

Helen C,

Since I came here 6 years ago, I have met so many wonderful people. Their kindness overwhelms me. Residents have gone above and beyond since I broke my foot, in particular, my friends Alice, Darlene, Bernie and Helen. Also, the Community Relations Department, (that I have done volunteer work for) all the Sisters of St Dominic, the reception desk and so many others… DV should be proud to have them as residents and employees.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Long Island is the most religiously diverse metropolitan area in the world. Dominican Village is the most qualified local senior center to served interested believers - - Christians, Jews and other members of God’s family. All are welcome.

With no pressure to participate, our Sisters, deacons and lay leaders offer residents large weekly prayer services and lectures, plus a variety of small group meetings and discussions for beginners and serious searchers.
